Image capture in the Sytong handheld thermal imager is based on the newer industry standard 12-micron pixel pitch image sensor. The capabilities of the thermal detector are pushed even further by the proprietary software features of Sytong’s Image Detail Boost technology and Observation modes.
The integrated laser rangefinder (LRF) provides quick on-the-go range data for precision shooting. The video recorder, Wi-Fi module and a number of other important features turn the unit into a versatile hunting tool for even the most demanding professionals.
Sharp, richly contrasted thermal imaging for enhanced identification of animals, their extremities, and even the smallest details, i.e. branches, leaves, grass, and terrain. The sub-30 NETD (Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference) performance of the sensor ensures detection of minute temperature changes, resulting in excellent performance in harsh conditions.
Thermal monoculars are also used in firefighting. Usually, thermal monoculars can sense heat radiation between the range of -50° C to 2000° C. Thermal monoculars are extensively used in hunting, security, surveillance, energy analysis, LE and military, industrial applications, and in search and rescue operations.
In other words, thermal imagers let you “see” heat. Depending on the sophistication of your system, thermography is capable of providing very detailed images of situations usually invisible to the naked eye.
